Subject: Surging and Bucking IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 CC V6 4X4 auto with the following mods, TPS set to .7v, Airaid CAI and I have moved the IAT to the CAI intake pipe. New Bosh Plat plugs gapped at .045 along with a new cap, rotor and new stock plug wires. The truck feels like it is surging when I drive down the road at cursing speed. It also cuts out when I am in 2nd gear and it is getting ready to shift to 3rd. This doesn't happen all the time and I have not found a way to make it happen. Any suggestions?

That's probably pretty slow - stuck in traffic? 8)
Check fault codes first.

Message: i'd close that gap some. i experimented with different gaps on my '00 3.9 w/ the Bosch plat plugs and found that .035" was the "sweet" spot. i went from .030" to .060" in .005" increments.
