i have a 99 dakota sport with a few mods but i want better throttle response! can you put a v8s throttle body on a v6 and if so could you buy a ported throttle body for it?

yes you can do both. you can buy a aftermaket ported tb or you could put a v8 tb off of a 5.2 or 5.9 v8. all you need for the v8 tb is the tb itself and the throttle cable. check out this thread... http://www.dodgedakota.net/boards/v6/12362-2.html
i just finished boring out a stock v6 tb to 48mm and will be posting some pics soon. it made a big improvement in throttle responce, power, and fuel milleage. let us know if you have anymore questions.

the linkages are different for the v8 so you would need to replace your v6 cable with the one off of the v8.
