while changing my diff oil this weekend I checked the trans mount. It seems really mushy. It didn't take much at all to move the trans around on it. Didn't see any visible cracks or anything like that though. How flexible are they supposed to be? I think I'll just get one and put it in anyways. The differential was very clean inside and no visible damage whatsoever. There was some grease like sludge on the walls of the inside but no metal shavings. Oil looked good and smelled like oil and not burnt. I'm sure the service was good to do anyways. I noticed some old seepage arount the axles where they come into the differential housing though. What would those seals be?
