Message: The firing sequence is as follows:
The passenger side front cylinder is 2
The drivers side front clinder is 1
Your firing order for V6 3.9 is 1-6-5-4-3-2
If you are looking at your cap, the number 1 cylinder is at the 9 o'clock posistion. This was the best way I knew of describing position. Firing order will be clockwise on the cap.
Hope this helps.

Message: on my 98 Dak, the firing order is also on the intake manifold...I failed to mention that. The cylinders are also numbered on each of the fuel injectors as well.
