Subject: COIL WIRE ARC IP: Logged
Message: Just replaced plug and coil wires with autolites because of visible arcing (in the dark) all along the coil wire. It's still doing it! When the arcing starts, it misses terribly. But it doesn't act up until the engine is thoroughly warmed up. Any ideas?

Message: I believe there's a tsb out for rerouting the wires...no clue where you can find it or if it'll solve your problem, but you may wanna do some searching and see if it'd help.

Message: You reroute the coil wire between the valve covers and the intake manifold. Be sure to cover wire with convolute ( the snap on plastic covering)
