Message: if anyone has problems with starting your vehicle after it's been sitting for a while then read this! after about a week of not driving my kota '88 3.9, it cranked over but didn't fire. i got pissed and started checking things. i looked under the hood and found some wiring that had been chewed on and torn into! thank god it's color coded so i spliced them all back together and she fired right up! i could see small teeth marks on the insulation so i knew mice or some other small rodent was chewing on em. i'm trying to figure out what i can spray on the rest of the wiring to keep the dam things out. any ideas?

Message: Same thing happened to my buddies Jeep Grand Cherokee, something chewed through his fuel pump wires. Later found out it was squirrels that his dog was chasing up under his jeep. He put Tobasco in a spray bottle and sprayed the wires and hasnt had a problem since.
