Message: Dont know what to do now. I haven't really done much (V8 TB, and CAI) but they're the cheapest things to do. I know about the IAT relocate, TPS adjust and CPS but I haven't got the ambition to do em. That and I can do them when ever I feel like no matter what else I decide to do next. I guess I'm just confused on where to start. Anything I can do next that I can actually see a difference? That and I'd love to keep cost of the next mod under 200 but I know I'm probably just dreaming.

Message: Tell you what. Hang on to that money and get your mind off of your truck. Eventually your budget will allow for headers or a limited slip or something. Just keep saving (or spend it on gas).

Message: I'm going into the service and I ship out late January. Now i'm kinda just on a free for all for my truck because it keeps me busy. I still got some bills but I also have some spending money burning a whole in my wallet. New gears would be realy nice but I'll wait til I'm in to get those. Thanks for the advice

Message: The IAT relocate(to some point on your "air hat" or intake tubing) will take you 15 minutes tops(by the way you can add a switchable resistance into the IAT system for $2 at radio shack and 5 minutes). If you can get ahold of a voltmeter, the TPS will take you another 5-10 minutes(2 screws and a little pressure), the CPS is a little more troublesome(I haven't done it myself) so don't do it if you don't really have the ambition. The above are FREE! The next cheapest are the brass cap and rotor(Accel for $15-$20). Then you can go into the plug wires($35-$100), coil or complete ignition system($45-$500), intake manifold port and polish(Free-$350)(doing the work yourself saves big money) and like what schmidtmike said "headers or a limited slip or something" The sky is the limit buddy, the thing is to have fun while you are doing it! By-the-way what branch?
If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.

Message: Forgot to mention the cap and rotor. Those crapped out on me while ago so I got some new ones from Napa. Probably gonna go with muffler and cat next. The rockers would be nice but I don't know what I'm doing there. Thanks.
BTW I'm going into the Navy.

Message: Ok now I've decided to play with my electrical...maybe. Right now I'm looking at the MSD6A module ($178), MSD Blaster SS Coil ($41),
MSD 8.5 MM Wires ($83), Perma Cool Electric Fan ($109), and the ASP Underdrive Pulley Kit ($122).
Grand total $502 so I'm not gonna get it all at once. I have a few questions though. I've read that with the Underdrive kit and electric fan there may be some probs with the alt. since there's something new drawing off of it and it's not puttin out as much anymore. Also is it just suggested to go witht the MSD 8.5 or could I find a cheaper one and if so do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

Message: I'd go with the MSD wires, with more voltage being produced with your ignition module, it will be wasted with "cheap" more resistive wires. (MSD 8.5mm have about 75ohms while normal cheaper wires have about 1500-4500ohms) Less resistance means less voltage drop across the wires and hotter spark at the spark plug.
If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.
