I beleive my brain is going out in my dakota and my neighbor has a 90 dodge van. Does anyone know if I can interchange them? or what resources I can find? Help me. I am lost without her.:)

if both are the same engine tranny any model year they will work however not as well as if they are the right one, and by right one you could make it right by flashing the computer,if you know how.

I got a used computer for 100.00 at an on-line used parts store. Better than paying 300.00 for a new one.Just make sure you get the exact numbers off of the computer. They first sent me one that did not have the same numbers - but I exchanged it for one that did and my truck now runs fine. I was having a charging problem, but now it is gone.
