Used it yesterday on my 00 3.9 for the first time. Worked like advertised for the first 10 miles then let the truck sit for 4 hours. Started it back up and now the check engine light is on and it runs like its on 5 cylinders. Any thoughts?

jim, you don't need a code reader. turn the key on/off, on/off, on. do not start it. the odometer will display the codes. when it is done it will display Pdone. it works on my '00. post back with the codes displayed.

Sounds like a #5 cylinder mis-fire code. Check your plug wire and spark plug, the seafoam might have dislodged something that is shorting out your plug.

I am assuming that cylinder is located on the right side rear. If that is the case then there is a history with this cylinder. I was replacing the plugs several months ago and the electrode came out but the threads stayed in the head. Mechanic said a bolt holding a plate over the exhaust manifold sheared in the head resulting in water to drip into the spark plug which rusted the threads in place. Went to fix the head and found cracks around all three cylinders. Hello new head.
Anyway now the plug has to come out.
