Subject: vibration after swaybar install IP: Logged
Message: Just wondering if anyone has gotten a vibration in the steering wheel after a rear swaybar was added?
I did and can't find out why, it is definetly from the rear and only shakes the wheel after hitting bumps in the road.
Front end checks out ok, rear also looks good tried installing links in many configurations to no avail. Almost feels like the axle is shifting and it is being transfered to the front. There is some rust comming out from the leafs too.
It is on a 04 2wd RC sxt v6 5spd 3.55 only other mods are a tonneu cover.
Tried removing one link to see if it is from the bar itself, it got better but is still there. Any ideas?

Message: I put a rear sway bar on my 1994, 2wd.
No vibs as you describe.
The sway bar was the most noticeable of all the mods I've done recently. It really improved the handling.
