Message: I have Gibson shorty headers. Vast improvement. High flow cat and a glasspack. Rumbles quietly at idle, but screams at WOT. If you go to a muffler shop, go to a small independently owned one. They will do a better job and will probably be cheaper.

Message: For the price what I've heard as that they aren't worth the improvement. A budget choice is the 92-93 stock manifolds (they flow better) and just a higher flow exhaust from there back. For the money its much more beneficial to put in roller rockers, new style injectors, perf computer, cam... they all are a much better choice for the price. If its just sound you are looking for try a high flow cat and flowmaster muffler, i like the way mine sounds. (kinda like a 5.0 mustang)

Message: schmidtmike,
I tried your brand for a while but I feel like the truck has more power and low end with the Cat on there.
I bought a Magnaflow High Flow Cat from i think it was truckperformance.com It only cost me about 80 bucks and another 20 to get it welded on correctly. Sounds good and looks better (it is polished).
