First of all,I would like to say Hello.... With that said ,I am new to the dakota world... I just purchased a 93 3.9L dakota and also purchased the error codes that went with it,LOL.
I am getting 2 codes...#1 is Injector #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 (except 2.5L), #6 (except 2.5L), #7 (5.2L only), or #8 (5.2L only) does not respond properly to the control signal.** and #2 isPCM internal fault condition detected...... can anyone give me an idea of a direction to head??? I would love to avoid the dealer but this has me baffled..Any help would be imensly appreciated! Thank you in advance,
Ron in Miami

Check/clean connector and wiring to the
" computer " [ on passenger side fender ]..
Double check these codes

www.dodgeram.org/tech/gas/Trouble/pcm_fault_code.htm
is a good listing and explanation..
Also have you tried just resetting it ?
Disconnect battery negative for a few minutes
best to turn key on - while battery dis connected
to fully drain any memory..

Also if you have not done it already - carefully check the wiring under the "fusebox "
{underhood , drivers side } - look for a splice of 3 wires - about 8 to 10 inches from the fusebox
green = corrosion redo the splice with a
good quality 'joiner' , or solder and tape up well..
