Hey rtike. I think the only way to turn off that light (at least the only way that I have found) is to have it reset on a DRBII Scan Tool. I got an emission inspection this summer, and the guys at the shop said the engine controller computer trips the Maint Req'd light at certain milage intervals. They turned it off for me when they were diagnosing the emission problems. They The only other way I know is to pull the bulb.

Somedakotaguy, disconnecting the battery works to reset the engine controller trouble codes and the check engine light, but the Maint Req'd light needs to be reset by a scan tool. My Maint Req'd light stayed on even after I disconnected the battery until I had it reset.
