Can anyone tell me what transmission is the correct one for a 94 2wd dakota.
I just got the truck without trans and don't know
if computer and stuff is linked to trans or not.
Will other years and types work?
the book said to look on floor on passenger side
for ID plate to identify trans and color ect. but can't find it.

the correct trans for your truck will be the AH48 trans (basically a 904 4-speed with electronic control and short tail shaft). Just forget the slosh box AH48 and bolt up a beefy 727 3-speed from a truck or old polara cop car. You'll be a lot happier, trust me.
