Message: I have it on my 89 dakota, and it sounds pretty good. Almost like a Buick Grand National. It's loud, but not noisy, like a straight six Ford pickup (noisy and annoying). The install was pretty straight forward, everything bolted up smooth. But I do recommend having a hacksaw or a pipe cutter of some sort, because the intermediate shaft is trim-to-fit.

but on my 90 dakota it did give a performance increase and mileage increase
i got the kind that the mufflers were the big tips at the end, not a split muffler

Message: Thats what I got. Not crazy about the resinator tips that came with it but "grand National" NOT! No raspy tone and a bit of rumble. I plan to remove the ugly tips that came with it and throw on dual-tip chrome monza resinators that will not change the tone, just the look.
