 Subject: 300 hp out of 92 3.9 magnum???

i was wondering if any one knew how i could get 300hp out of my 92 magnum 3.9 dakota. i have a flow master 40 series delta flow muffler K&N cold air intake and a jet chip stage 2. i am also in the process of getting a v8 TB. i cant find a S/C for any help with that would be appreciated.

are you going for the originality of the v-6? because if its not about that, its a whole lot easier to just drop in a 5.2 and do some work to that. probably cheaper too.

I don't know if it can be done with the v6, but do know it can be done with the 4 cylinder.

The ports of the stock Magnum head will support flow sufficient for 400 streetable HP(at around 6,000rpm) on a 5.2 V8. That's 50HP per cylinder. On a Magnum V6, that's 300HP with the right cam, induction, and exhaust to compliment the package.

I doubt Larry is using stock injectors. I bet he is using injectors from FiveMotorSports.com. With compression at 10.5 to 1, I'm sure he is using premium. Larry has a knack for squeezing as much horsepower and gas mileage out of these as anybody can get.

The truck gets 19 high way not bad really
premium gas yes
21# FMS injectors the 19# did not work well the
dyno showed about 16hp less with 19 and to lean
on this motor
It has 12,000 miles on it now its a little fire

i would basically need to replace everything inside the engine of my 3.9 (since there's around 140 thousand miles on her) in order for it to handle all that horsepower
