chrysler big blocks have the distributor in the front as pictured, and angled towards the external oil pump. The distributor drive on the front of the camshaft puts less strain and bind on the camshaft.
ZZ, please tell us what that is and what it's in if it's neither a mopar big block or in dakota?
300 horsepower n/a 3.9 street motor... no way. sorry, but that's the truth.
Message: Maybe you should just repost your burnout video Intense...I think that should be proof enough that you don't have a 239, 318, or a 360 in your Dak:)
that was a third gear burnout with the motor in it's "stock" configuration... i did one infront of my house and took 3rd gear to 6000 rpms (tires spinning 115 mph) and it was pretty amazing.. lol
visibility on my street was less than a 1/4 mile for the following 15 minutes.. haha!!
ZZ,
chevy motors have a distributor in the rear of the motor, most being HEI style.
that vid was with stock exhaust manifolds, 2.25" dual exhaust and a couple flowmaster 40's. Latest thing was 1 3/4" headers, 2.5" dual exhaust and a couple spintech race muffs... man i should of taken a video of it... it was friggin' awesome!
