Message: Got 2 questions. There is a 95 3.9 Dakota extended cab for sale. The price is $800. There is 218,000 miles on it. Is this truck worth that much. The problem is it wont start. The lady selling it said it needed new distibutor, wires, plugs. She did the work herself. Problem existed before she did the work. Now the truck wants to start but wont turn over. It starts to sputter. Just keeps doing that. SHe had the problem fora while. Last time it stalled on the highway and wouldnt start. Any help would be appreciated.

Message: Sounds like the infamous bad connection in the wiring loom. on the drivers side going back from the power dist. box towared the cab about 8 inches or so. the bundle of wires wrapped with tape remove the tape and if you have a problem you will see green corosion and find a joint where 3 wires are joined. clean and solder these wires back toghather and then re wrap the wires.
