 Subject: Tail lights messing up

Help here too please.
So I istalled a hitch.
I bough a hoppy plug-in wiring harness.
I pluged it in and the lights didnt work.
I unplugged it and hooked it back up normal and it still dint work.
here is what it does-
When I
BRAKE --- left side brake light gets dim /right side works fine
RIGHT TURN SIGNAL --- normal
LEFT TURN SIGNAL --- reverse lights flash / left tail light flashs really dim and oppisit of the reverse.
Any ideas out there.

before you do too much I would try taking the conector that you tried to hook the Hoppy connector to and clean all of the connections and coat with silicone grease and see it that corrects the problem.

I did the greese thing and it didnt help.
How would i clean the contacts u cant really get to them with a brush.
