Subject: What is it for? IP: Logged
Message: Looking over some Quads for posible purchase, I came across something I can't idenify. Under the
back between the frame rails just a couple inches
ahead of the rear bumper is a 1-1 1/4" diameter
bar mounted in rubber. Seems to flex back and forth when you grab it and twist. What is this
for? Anybody know? Maybe vibration damping? I've
only seen this on Quads and not other models.
Thanks

Message: It's the mass vibration damper (only found on QCs). It smooths the ride. Those that have removed it have found the ride to be rougher without it.
