What does it all mean? People talk about having 3.92, 3.55, etc. So which is the best?
Looked in the glove box today...I have 3.94 on my 4 by 4 sport cc dak...is this good or bad?

The higher the number, the "quicker" your car will rev due to the shorter gears.
Many have 3.55's in their 3.9L V6's i believe, but some have gone to 4.10 and said they didnt have much of a gas milage drop.

M. Gilbert - there shoud be a tag in your glove box, and/or a sticker on the rear (probably left axel tube) that says. Both ratios will be the same.
