 Subject: Raced a Grand Marquis

One of my friends truck was broken down (it's an S10) so he borrowed his grandma's car that is a 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis. He said he wanted to race me, so I said OK. We went to the usual spot (we spray painted the road with lines for a quarter mile track). I didn't let out on the clutch quick enough so he beat me out of the hole. And then I Missed 2nd so I was even farther behind. I started to catch him and got ahead of him in 2nd and 3rd. but we went across the line at about the same time so we called it a tie. I didn't think that I had a chance but I was pretty happy with the result.
