Dont know what to do and need some help! Somethings wrong with the fuel pump. Thought it was dead but dont think so anymore. Tried testing for power at the pump... 4 wires 1st one had power at start for a few seconds (when you here the pump kick on i presume) the pump worked that one time then didnt work. now no power at that wire.. fuses good relays good i guess (switched with good ones) Dont know what else to say ... any help would be greatly welcomed.

kota101: need info, what year is the truck and what makes you think the pump would be faulty in the first place? what symptoms are you having?

My truck looks like it was in a knife fight, and lost! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/1275365

Sorry about the 2.5L. Im dropping a six sometime at the end of summer, but thats becides the point.

Reason I thought it was dead was because it didnt kick on... no whinning sound. Check this though, I tried it this morning for joke and the pump kick on! It kicked on three tries in a row (truck didnt start) Then no more pump... waited.. waited.. then pump worked again this time the truck started!! Ran a bit crappy but its running right now. Im afraid to drive it yet..
Tell me what you think?

the better thing to check for is fuel pressure. Is your engine multi-port fuel injection (one for each cylinder) or throttle body? If its multi-port there should be a schraeder valve on the fuel rail. My engine calls for 40 PSI of pressure. there is a relay that powers the fuel pump - its under the hood - usually you can swap it with an AC relay just to check it out.
