Subject: flat throttle response from idle IP: Logged
Message: My 1992 Dakota w / 3.9 from at an idle, in neutral, has a flat spot in the throttle response. While slowly raising engine speed, engine jumpes from 70 rpms to 2000 rpms and will not run in between the two in neutral gear. What might cause this. The engine has been tuned; with brass tipped dist. cap & rotor, Bosch platnium plus & wires, fuel filter, KN air filter, PCV, injectors cleaned with BG injection cleaner.
