Message: Does anyone know where I can get a schematic for the wiring harness? I have a '90 Dakota convertible and I am trying to hard wire my head unit. The speaker wires are unmatching and uncoded. Ride on my fellow sheep heads.

Message: Best way is to go straight to the pos battery and use a relay. All you need to do that is a test light and a relay.
Or go to Best Buy, Circut City or Radio Shack and get an adapter harness for it, they make em for 94's so I would think yours inst much different.
Good luck, Scott

Message: Tom--sounds like a bad radio and the internal problems with the radio blew the radio memory and accessory power fuses. Check all the fuses under the hood at the power distribution center if your truck has one, and at the fuse panel inside the truck. If you replace any blown fuses and it happens again, try removing the radio and then replacing the fuses. If they don't blow out then you know for sure the radio is bad. A good car audio shop can repair it for you, or yuo can just go with an aftermarket radio. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
Jimmy
