Message: i think your most cost effective option would be 4.10 gears. if i were going to spend more on my dak, it would be gears. that's a lot of truck for a small motor.
i know i have an'00 QC 3.9 but 2wd and 5 spd manual. i bought mine used and it had been an auto i wouldn't have bought it.

Message: As said before, changing the gears might help as well as a cold air intake, new brass contact cap and rotor, new plugs, autolite 3923 are good also remove the rubber flap to the front of the passenger's side radiator, upgrade your muffler to a flowmaster 40 super series, add a speed chip, replace the stock v6 throttlebody for a v8 one, change the thermostat to a 185 robert shaw, modify your tps, advance you timing (also know as the crankshaft position sensor mod) these are just a few things to name that can be done to increase you horse power and mileage but if you want more info you have to check out all the other posts.
My truck looks like it was in a knife fight, and lost!
