Message: I am sorry but because it's texas you 2.5L is actually 8.0L in disguise. You see everything in texas is bigger. You just need to get out of aggieland, it's a big no no. You see they use a transmitter to send out signals with your vin and the engine performance your supposed to get, your pcm reads this and cuts half-of the fuel so that you get half of the performance. Granted thenummbers don't add up but when you starve an engine they don't work on a linear scale. In any case aggieland is the problem you must move. You see even a mopar pcm reads these signals only it lets you go a little faster but not much.
Hehe, okay it's late but I thought this was really funny.
PS Down with the Aggie's.

Message: Yabuddy, look in the Mopar Performance book, it has quite a few parts for 2.5 but you really need a turbo to get any real fun out of it.
Good luck, Scott

Message: Hey! I've gotta 92 dak V6 and I'd like a copy of that article, my truck will never get that fast but it'll help having some guidance of some sort. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to how to get performance and even more so when it comes to installs. My addy is ztburcham@bsu.edu
