quite possibly you might need to get one but I've also heard that the one you have fits...I forget what year's they were that fit Just clean up the sensors and plug them in. It's a bolt on mod. I've also heard suggestions on modifying the intake to allow more air flow to ur new throttle body. I want to do the same thing but I have not got around to actually buying the throttle body. So this is all just hear say.

It's not a matter of cable length, it's a matter of whether it mates up to the trottle linkage. There are basically two types of cable ends. One is a ball stud and the other is a disk. Use the bracket that came on the v8 tb and get the correct cable from your dealer.

First be sure you have the right body
92 to 95 need a 92 to 95 V8 body EGR type
96 and up 96 and up V8 body none EGR

3 types
ball stud
Disc
bycycle end with cam

Get a new gasket $1 use all V6 sensors because
you know there good and bolt it on 5.2 gasket
not a 3.9 they are 48mm and the V8 is 50mm

star shut off, start shut off, start shut off 3
times this will let it learn the new idle not
nessasary to do a hard reset

50 mile short term learn 200 to 300 full learn it
may not run well for the first 50 miles what you
will notice with the V8 body is off idle to 1800
rpm will remain the same but a noticeable increase
above 2000rpm

well i installed it but i used the sensors that were already on the 5.2tb(bought it from the dealer) and i used the old gaskets that came with my tb spacer im wondering if that would cut off airflow or not? i doubt it though becuz the tb looked the same size as the tb spacer. lastly i drove around and i didnt have any problems, it ran fine. i think i see alittle differance in acceleration not as much as everyone made it out to be though

You probably won't notice much on the bottom end. I should give much need breathing at WOT, but most people don't run around with the pedal mashed to the floor.

One thing that is never considered, for any given throttle position you get more air but the TPS signal is lower. In other words, the v6 tb opens further in order to give the same amount of air flow and thus rotates the TPS further resulting in a higher voltage reading.

In some cases the TPS mod will help. It's worth checking the initial voltage anyway.

If you put the v8 throttle body on your truck and experience some low end torque loss, there are 3 things you can do to "compensate" for that loss:

1. Run a K&N air intake more air in helps.
2. Do the TPS mod as stated above.
3. Performing the crank shaft position sensor mod will help to bring in more low end also.

92 and 97 Daks both with many mods.
