Subject: V6 Intake Manifold IP: Logged
Message: I am looking for a V6 intake manifold that will fit on a '98 Dakota. Does anybody out there have one for sale? The junk yards in my area just don't seem to have them. Thanks, Relf.

Message: You haven't seen any because there aren't any.
If you are looking for a stock manifold, try eBay or carpart.com

Message: Hughes engines sells 2 reworked stock manifolds
stage 1 & 2
ports are cleaned runners shortened and filled to
reduce volume
I am running a stage 2 on my new stroker motor
nice intakes
They also sell a nice asortment of cams and
pistons pushrods lifters anything you want for
the V6
both have the same 48mm bores I opened mine to
50mm and have a 50mm F&B sitting on it

Message: If I reworked my own manifold, how do I re-fill material back into the casting so I don't increase volume? What is the material? Where do you put the material? Couldn't I just make a 1/4" plenum plate from aluminum and mill a step around the periphery of the plate, so when I attatch it, the plate sits into the manifold a bit? Relf.
