Hey, does anybody have a dyno sheet for a stock 02 v6? I would like to know where most of the power comes in and what RPM is best to shift at when your trying to accelerat fast. Thanks

I haven't seen any dyno charts, but it seems like all the power is in the midrange. Also, the rev limiter is at 5000, so if you hold it past there, you're actually slowing down. I've found that the best time to shift is between 4000-4500, then you can hit second right in the midrange and chrip them babies.

Alright, I went out to see where the most of the power comes from and it FEELS like right around 3500 RPM. So I say shift at 4000 to get best acceleration. I also did a top speed run, I was able to hit 115 MPH, maybe more like 110 but it was reading right at 3500 RPM. So I'm guessing thats where my governor is. I'm pretty impressed with this truck. It has one heavy - ass v6 in a heavy ass body and is able to hit 110 and 0-60 in bout 8 sec. I like this truck. Much better than my 85 s10 2.8l!!
