I have a 2000 Dakota Extended Cab 3.9L with a 5 speed. It is my 4th Dakota and even though they have all been pretty doggy when it comes to performance I have always liked them. Surfing the net one night I came across this website and man am I ever glad I did. I added the following mods and increased my gas mileage from 17-18mpg to 21-22mpg. Not to mention the increased performance.
Cold Air Intake
Dynomax Muffler
Modified Throttle Body
New Spark Plug Wires
Autolite 3923's then switched to Champion Truck Plugs #4071 gapped at .045
Relocated IAT
I am going to install a 180 degree t-stat and try the injector sync thing hopefully this week. This website and the folks on here have been a big help and I just wanted to say THANX.
