Curently running the powerdyne sc #9 with the fmu msd 6a/blaster ss/and msd8.5mm. I gapped my plugs at .35.
I seem to get a little ping 4k+, what can i do to prevent this with out having to retard the timing? Would bigger injectors solve/help the prob?
Are my stocks on the 99 5.2 21#? If so which ones should i go with, 24#fms or 26#?

id think that u would be better off taking it to a dyno and checkin out the a/f ratio and goin from there. what temp stat is in the truck....and 9lbs with no retard may be alittle scarry

running a 180 stat. how can the a/f ratio be changed? yeah it looks like i am going to go with the btm module

the a/f can be changed by the fmu or a custom flash. i would also throw a set of 24's in..unless im mistaken i think your have 19's in there? what color are the tops of the injectors? your goingt o wana be around 12:1

Yes your 99 5.2 go with the 24#
The bigger injectors would just trim back from the
o2 reading
Drop your boost presure 6 to 7 psi or try a roe
map adjuster from KRC you can tune the map to
read higher that will retard timming
Try a colder plug like the champ 10 Autolite 3922
same .035 gap
You can also buy a boost retard setup from MSD
that will work for you
Just a few options I hope your running an inline
boost pump to increase fuel presure under boost
and a regulator to increase fuel
We are still waiting on the billit fuel rails from
KRC for our 360 vortech project truck
