Message: Air filter!
Clean and oil the breather filter, too.
Clean the throttle body.
Clean battery terminals, check all vacuum hoses and wiring.

Message: No, AP means they are platinum (longer life), the 3923s are copper.

Message: Going a little off topic will any year (97-03) 5.2L throttle body work on a 2003 3.9L? I realize the linkages differ. Is $125 Canadian a good price for a used one?

Message: Yup... as long as it's 97+ it'll work. That's around $101 US, if I converted it right...so it's not a horribly steep price, but you could prolly find one for cheaper if you shopped around a bit more. Sometimes you can find em for as low as $50 US...$80 US seems to be the average price though.

Message: O2 sensor on a 2 year old truck?
I'd put a scanner on the O2 before replacing it. Don't waste your money unless it is defective.

Message: Right. My O2 sensor on my car lasted 190K miles, and worked perfectly until then, giving 35 mpg and very low emissions, same as when new. Replacement has 53K miles on it, still behaving like new. Replace only when a change is noticed. Besides, one this new is under federal warranty.
