well, im thinking after reading and reading and reading......of just shoving a bigger motor in my good ol' dak...
does anyone know if it is possible to jam a hemi in there? that way i wont have to spend $6k to make my v6 go!!!!!

sure its possible. people put big blocks and v10s in there. expect to spend more than $6k though, will take some fab work to say the least

im sure it would take more than 6K, however, if i go ahead and start putting my money to that instead of the $400 here, and $30 there, and after a few months i should have just over 10K, that should at least get me SOMETHING to put in there!!

Mopar performance sells a 5.7 hemi crate engine with a wiring harness for it for about 8800 bucks if you want MPI, 8400 if you want to go the carb route. It has 360 hp, the only thing is I have no clue what the oil pan looks like or what the bolt pattern on the new hemis is. A 380 horse mag can be had for less than 4000, but the hemi is cool.

You can bolt a 318 or 360 right in just need to
either add 2 injector wires to exsisting harnass
or change harnass and use V8 computer
You can use the A500 trans but I recomend a shift
kit

Yuh Im thinking of doing a engine swap with the 5.9 engine in
my 2000 dak 3.9. So i would just need a shift kit and 2 injector
wires and the trans will hold it. The crate motor prices on jegs
went up 1000 bucks =(
