I was looking into buying either a turbo or supercharger for my next mod. Which one would I get the best gains out of? Who makes them for the 3.9's? Where can I find----Internet sites.....etc.

a turbo will probably give more power, but a SC will probably be easier to install.
on the street, both will probably give about the same power

also remember i was looking at them and i found that superchargers are half the price for just about the same power so i would get a supercharger

Actually, a turbocharger will give you more power than a supercharger at the same amount of boost.

i love the idea of turbo. im seriously considering it
its the only easy(but expensive)way out of no V8 hell
if you believe tom and bernd though, turbo is worth the difference(but its actually less then most superchargers)to most you get out of a supercharger is 80 hp and from what they say that is like the least you can get out of a turbo. and i think turbo is more fuel efficient also.
one other thing here. superchargers give more bottom end torque I assume. Unless u plan to tow stuff with your super 3.9, the only thing that will do is cause more wheel spin which is fun, but it slows you down. If you can floor it and take off without wheel spin due to turbo lag wouldn't the lag actually end up making you go faster easier in the long run? correcyt me if im wrong

the lag isn't that bad... you will still spin the tires. my shelby would spin them from a dead stop, with a 1500 rpm launch, into 4th gear. the dakota won't be that impressive but it still would kick a lot of @ss.
