Subject: sticky idle IP: Logged
Message: I have recently instllaed an F&B TB. The install went well and the truck ran great after I reset the pcm. Yesterday, the idle began getting sticky or not returning to normal after the truck has warmed up (it runs normal when it is cold). I searched old posts and all of them I could find point towards the IAC. I cleaned it during the swap. Should I try cleaning it again to see if somthing has lodged in there, or should I replace it? What would a ball park price be for this part?
The F&B tb has a hole where you can see the IAC piston move when you give it gas. How far is it supposed to move? Mine only moves about a millimeter between half throttle and idle (when the truck is hot, I have not checked when it is cold).
Thanks for any help in advance.

Message: Start the truck and shut it off 3 times when warm
and it should rev when it starts and than settle
down
Also check your TPS drivers side of TB
center wire + and ground key on engine off and be
sure it always returns to the same low volts
.3 to .7
If you forced or twisted the IAC any way you could
have damaged it just spray with carb cleaner and
put a kittle oil on the oring to asure a good seal
also check all your vac lines and connections
