Message: MY check engine light came on, when i brought up the code it said p 0303. Which means there is misfire on cylender #3. I checked the plug and it was clean, after putting the spark plug back in, the truck ran fine and the engine light went off. This happened again and i just disconnected the batterey for a few minutes and my truck ran fine. Now the light won't come on but sometimes I'll start the truck and there is an obvious misfire and other times it will run fine. any Ideas????

Message: I had a #2 misfire, the light only stayed on for a day and the truck seemed to run fine. I replaced the plugs and wires just to be safe, and the light hasn't come back on.

Message: Well, I have an '04. Simuliar issues.
I replaced all the plugs and wires. Which seemed to correct things for about 1,000miles. Then it started all over again. I took the truck to the dealership and the catalytic convertor was 'clogged and replace' Now, with the truck having an extra 4,000 miles on, no problems as of yet.
