Subject: Stumbles in Rain IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 Dakota with 105K on it and here recently it has been idling weird in the rain on startups but once it gets going it is fine. Not throwing any codes. I figured I would replace the cap and rotor and that would take care of it but apparently not. This truck has been taken care of really well, original owner. This is bugging me through, does anyone know how to fix this problem or any suggestions to try?

Message: My dakota does the same thing. I have noticed that the coil on my truck is positioned so that all the puddles I hit will splash my coil. I have taken the coil wire off and sprayed wd-40 in it and it has fixed my problem thus far. I am planning on a future relocation for the coil. Hope this helps
