Message: your oxy sensor is before the cat (in exhaust for the ignorant) just down from the y pipe. if you havent had it out in a while it can take some work to break it loose, so try spraying some penetrating oil on it, and then good luck....the connector for it goes over the transmission and i fould it easier to get at from the opposite side of the truck.

Message: Im sorry that im bring this old post back but, i have a question. With this particular o2 censor going bad, would the truck seem like its almost backfiring or making a popping noise when letting off the throttle in the higher rpm range?? When I had a high flow cat and a glass pack, my truck would do this all the time and be real loud. BTW its also a 92, 3.9. thanks
