 Subject: Moog Ball Joints

I put new upper and lower MOOG ball joints on my 99 last year. The lower ball joints came w/ grease fittings, but the uppers did not. Last night I put some zerk fittings in the upper ball joints so I could grease them (the were already starting to squeek). But, I only got 2-3 pumps of grease in each fitting. I would have thought that they would have taken more than that. I couldn't even see where the rubber boot started to push out. It was like after 2-3 pumps of the grease gun, it wouldn't pump any more. I'm wondering if I got any grease at all in the joint.
Any ideas?
