What all does the Mechanical Malfunction Indicator light monitor in a 2k1 QC? The light has just turned on in my truck and i am trying to wear down possible problems. Whats all monitored by the light? What are some possible errors?

never heard of that but the "check engine lite" means that a sensor that is connected to the computer is giving an "out of range" or "no signal" condition to the computer and the computer is just telling you that it has recieved such a signal.
