Message: Dont let any mechanic or tech, fool you. To replace a cv shaft on a dakota is simple. Take the tire off. Brake caliper off, rotor off, Take the large nut and cotter pin out, take the 6 bolts on the case side of the cv shaft out and it falls out. To reinstall do it backwards and just put the tire side in first and its simple. I did one today in about an hour and i had the tire back on and ripping my 4x4 and i am no mechanic thats for sure just a glorifed parts changer!!!!
Any more questions email me Noel_J_R@YAHOO.COM
