I have a 97 dakota 3.9L with 55k miles. for 3 years now in cold weather when I restart my truck after driving a short distance it will not idle, it dies. I first start it and it runs good, idles well. I drive a short distance then restart it 5-10 minutes later and it will not idle, it dies. It will run good driving, but I stop and it dies again. I can keep my foot on the gas and keep it at an idle of 700 RPM and it runs smooth. I have changed plugs and wires and the dodge dealer has checked it out and it still has a problem. It is not every time either. it may go a few months and no problem.
