Message: I want to turbocharge my 05 4.7L dakota. I have a turbo and I want to run between 4-7 pounds of boost depending on how much hotter it runs, but does anyone have any ideas on my fuel system. how big of injectors do I need and is a higher volume fuel pump necessary?

Message: when the motor gos under boost yes you need to
add more fuel or it will melt down
You can do this 2 ways
1 raise fuel pressure with axsilery inline pump
2 add anothe injecter in the system
And Always start on the rich side and trim back
Yes the STS squiers turbo systems work great the
run from the muffler location you do lose around
1psi but what you gain in cooling the air there
is realy no diff in performance
Any s/c or turbo system in order to get the full
potential its best to tune it on a dyno with a
fuel and timing controler like the split sec with
the R4 software or the smt6 also working well
with the dodges
You can pick up another 50 to 100 ponies fine
tunning any of these systems
Don't get me wrong here the bolt on systems work
well and come with everything you need to make it
work without using a dyno they are mildly tuned
for safty and reliability reasons
