Is it common for late model 3.9's (mine's a 1999)to develop an exaust leak at one of the manifolds or at the collector gasket?? Mine just started to leak at around 49,000 miles when the engine is cold. It seems to go away once warmed up. When its leaking, i can hear an fast "pist, pist, pist, pist" noise on acceleration, under the hood. If it is indeed an exaust manifold gasket, i might as well put a set of headers on.
