Does anyone else have a holley TB on their 3.9L? I have one on mine but I dont know if their any good? I know holley is a good brand but that doesnt mean anything. Anyway, someplease let me know. I know my truck does have an unusual amount of power. I dunno!

My '95 CC 4x4 with 3.9 has a holley TB. Came that way as far as I know, bought the truck used w/ 39k miles.

i wouldn't think they are any better than other factory tb's. you could be lucky and have a 46mm tb. i believe the 3.9 dak's came with either 42, 44 or 46mm tb's.

Thanks for the replies. Just wondering. I wonder what all has been done to this motor, because it's pushin an awful lot of power to be stock. Let's put it this way. I raced a 5.0 mustang and stomped his ash off the line untill I hit about 70 and then he creeped by slowely. And I'm not telling any lies. Most 4bangers, dont stand a chance. I love this little truck.

I am not bragging because I beat a 5.0 mustang. I know mines no speed demon, but neither is that mustang. Lets face it, I understand that he has a V8, however, stock a lot of them arent fast. And yes, he was definetely racing. I got really good bottom end, and mid range power, but top end sucks.

MUST HAVE BEEN ONE HURTIN' PONY.
JUST SO YOU KNOW SUPERCHARGED V6 DAKS RUN ABOUT THE SAME 1/4'S AS STOCK 5.0'S.
BUT RACIN' IS ABOUT DRIVERS AS MUCH AS MOTORS SO MAYBE THE DRIVER WAS HANDYCAPPED.
NO JUST KIDDING AND I'M NOT SOME FREAK TRYING TO PUT DOWN DAKOTAS.

AFAIK all the stock TBs are made by Holley.
