my 5 speed 98 dakota's speedometer wont register untill after 30mph. i am thinking that it is the speed sensor but i cant find it anywhere on my truck. any ideas where it might be? it

I have a 97 5-speed and it is located on the side of the transmission. If i remember correctly i think 98 is when the speed was taken from the computer/anti-lock brake system.
