my 98 dakota's speedometer wont register untill after 30mph. i am thinking that it is the speed sensor but i cant find it anywhere on my truck. any ideas where it might be?

look at your rear end there isd a sensor there. also do a seach of this forum for a thread on this topic which will help you figure out what you need to know. it worked for me.
