Not worth the risk to me, I don't wanna loose my truck or my life. What happens if the ice breaks?

I never lived anywhere that was cold enough to do that. I love fishing, but dude! That's too damn cold to fish! I like my fishing comfortable - no, don't tell me about using no portable heater either :D

When the ice is 2 feet thick it is damn near impossible to put the truck in the lake. I Nope I do not get cold fishing, only an idiot would sit on the ice to try to catch fish. get a fish house turn the heat on and drink til the fish get so damn big that they will no longer fit up the hole.(then sleep it off)

I've got an 88 2wd 3.9L, I drove it on the ice the other day and I got stuck for an hour. Luckly I had a bunch of sand in the back for weight and I threw some under the tires.
