I have a 99 3.9L and purchased the venom chip for it last year. Once I put it on, i will not live without it. There has been criticism over the idea that there is no horsepower gain. I have much more power, response, and agility especially on the highway. It shifts quicker, pulls out the gears much longer, and stays conservative during standard driving conditions. It is a definite buy for those not wanting to spend too much, or void factory warrenties. I purchase from truckperformance.com for about $300. Best performance booster for the price.
